Last Sunday,our class organized some volunteer activities,in which all of us took an active part.We were divided into four groups.Group One went to the People’s Park,where they planted trees,watered flowers and cleaned the grassland to make it more beautiful.Group Two made their greatest efforts to give the bus station a thorough cleaning.After being cleaned,the station took on a new look.Group Three helped to raise money in the street for the Hope Project,so that more children in poor areas could afford their schooling.Group Four went to the old people’s home to present wonderful performances to make the aged there happier.What a meaningful day!These volunteer activities can help us to gain some social experience and make good sense of our personal values as well.
