cute是人或者动物“可爱的”,和另两个完全两回事
smart 是指人穿的时髦或者漂亮,或者也说人聪明
clever只是说人聪明

我是根据澳大利亚这里人的用法，错了别找我算账，他们是这么用的
cute是可爱，美丽的
smart我在中国学是时髦，美丽的意思
但是在澳大利亚人用是指聪明~！
clever就是聪明啦~

cute 是一个中性词，形容小姑娘可以说是聪明可爱，在泛泛的形容人的时候，有圆滑，矫情的意思。
clever 聪明，一般形容晚辈，像老师说学生那种。
smart 精明，有大智慧的意思。形容商人用smart
